Rose Tealight Candle Holder

Rose Tealight Candle Holder has been a great choice to add little lights and romance! The pattern is really easy, great for beginners, and quick to stitch out with yarns. I made this candle holder for a neighbor as a gift who had a small function, and she liked it and order few more numbers. This is a free pattern.

Supply List for Rose Tealight Candle Holder:

  • Yarn or Crochet Thread: You can use just about any size fiber to make this project. We have used Hobby India Crochet Thread
  • Crochet Hook Size: To crochet the flower, we used a size 3.5 mm crochet hook.
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Finished Size:

The flower measures about 15 cm in . Dollie sizes will vary based on supplies used and other factors.

Rose Tealight Candle Holder

Details Instructions for the Rose Tealight Candle Holder:

Make a magic ring or chain 30,sl st to being with

Round 1

Crochet 42 dc in ring

Round 2

5 ch, * skip 2 dc, 1 dc in next dc, 4 ch *, repeat from *-*, finish with 1 sl st in first ch on round = 14 ch-loops.

Round 3

Repeat in each ch-loop: 3ch, 1 dc, 5 tr, 1 dc 3 chain. Ss in the ch-loop, 14 petals

Round 4

Turn leaves towards you and crochet in round 2 as follows: 7 ch, 1 tr round first dc on round 2, * 5 ch, 1 tr round next dc on round 2 *, repeat from *-*, finish with 5 ch and 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round = 14 ch-loops.

Round 5

In each ch-loop: 3ch, 1 dc, 7 tr, 1 dc 3 chain. Ss in the ch-loop, 14 petals

Round 6

Turn leaves towards you and crochet in round 4 as follows: 9 ch, 1 tr round first tr on round 4, * 7 ch, 1 tr round next tr on round 4 *, repeat from *-*, finish with 7 ch and 1 sl st in 2nd ch from beg of round = 14 ch-loops.

Round 7

Crochet as follows in each ch-loop: 3ch, 1 dc, 9 tr, 1 dc 3 chain. Ss in the ch-loop, 14 petals

Fasten off; use the Tapestry needle to weave the ends.

If you want you can make your Rose much bigger. You just have to go on repeating one “loop Rd” and one “petal Rd” as often as you want to
