My first crochet project was a home science activity in school, a crochet shawl. So excited I was to learn a new art form. As per the tutor instruction’s, I went to the market for the purchases. Still remember the maroon wool and my first grey hook of 2.5mm.

Initially had no idea about yarn or hook, the only brand available with the stores was Pony Needles, and that’s when I got first introduced to the crochet world.

About the Company

The Pony Needle Industries (India) Private Limited; has a long history that takes us back to early 1949. The Pony company was a subsidiary of a major British manufacturer.
